Exploring and noticed the sign so went down the short dirt road. Superb views from car park. Look out is right near carpark.
There are steps to walk down but if you have any mobility issues it is difficult. Struggled with my knees but determined to investigate.
Didn’t see the blow hole but still lovely to witness the sunrise. On reading later reviews the blow hole is to the left.
No toilets, small carpark. I went early morning so only car there.
Beautiful spot.
Definitely recommend taking a look.
There are some steep steps which may be difficult for the elderly. However, there is a viewing platform at the carpark which has a great view of the overall area and does not require any access via stairs.
Awesome place that I explored with my partner the last weekend when we were near Morington. Saw people swimming there and shoots were happening there too. Very picturesque place.
Don't miss this spot in the Mornington Peninsula, especially when you're exploring Cape Schanck and Bushrangers bay. The views from the top are incredible, and a quick 10-minute hike gets you to the impressive blow hole. Aim for low tides & sunny days to enjoy it to the fullest.
To get to the actual blowhole itself walk down to the bottom of the stairs then turn left, it's hidden along the shore among the rocks there but with luck you may be able to see the fountain of water from the beach. Tides may affect whether you get a good view.
Beautiful part of the beach, lovely sights.. highly recommended
Hidden away scenic spot that has a unique cliff & rock platforms, car park is small & can get busy during summer
A great spot to look at views of Bass Strait. The right conditions are needed to see the Blowhole in action so there was no 'hole-blowing' when l was there. Boardwalk takes you down to water's edge. If the day is nice enough, you can sit on large rocks and watch the waves crash into the cliffs or larger rocky outcrops. Some sections are fenced off but of course there are always those people who think they wont get into trouble and go walking near edges with extremely high drops. Car park area only fits about 7 cars so you have to be lucky to get one, otherwise park on Blowhole Track and walk the rest of the way. To the right is a small round lookout area and to the left is the wooden boardwalk trail that takes you all the way down.
